We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer to work with in our Fontworks Team to learn Japanese Font Technologies.

Responsibilities

• Learn Japanese Font Technologies and implement/improve font tools as a web-based system, automation, and other modernization measures. 
• Analyze business and technical requirements for application design 
• Implement various systems (using testing and appropriate documentation) 
• Collaborate with front-end engineers, product designers, and architects to implement projects. 
• Manage/Lead projects as a project leader where necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a project leader, desirable
• Application development on public cloud. 
• Design, construction, operation and maintenance of services using Linux 
• Experience with Python, and/or PHP 
• Able to understand apps with C language and translate them into modern languages.
• Deep knowledge of AWS and GCP
• Ability to communicate in Japanese and English
